Today is obviously a great day because it’s friday! We were informed yesterday that both Amy and Molly had to go over to the Eatonton location (Greensboro, GA) to help with supplies and attend meetings. This meant that Melissa and I were on our own for the very first time (eek). We arrived at 8 and worked on our blogs as we waited for the volunteers to arrive. This was a great opportunity to meet new volunteers and ask them about their roles as well as inform them if they need anything that we were here! Then we hopped on a call with Amy, as she needed a task done! We have surveys for our oncology foot massage therapies and Amy needed them sent out to colleagues in numerical order and then wanted us to use the surveys to create metrics for social media. So after concluding my difficulties with the copy machine, we were able to work on some social media. I made a canva of the reviews and hope to interview Erica the masseuse to add a more personal feel to the post. Concluding these, Charissa, helping with Wonders and Worries, wanted to chat with us about activities and we scheduled a meeting for next Wednesday (how fun). Then Melissa began to work on this amazing content schedule calendar before we hit up lunch (which was chicken parm, SO GOOD). After lunch it was about time for the volunteer switch. We headed back upstairs and made sure things ran smoothly and once again met great new volunteers. Melissa left and I continued to edit my content and check in with Molly and Amy.
